Hi fam + friends! Happy Resurrection Sunday! This is my newsletter for the month of March! Overall, it was a very hard month to say the least, but I’m excited to share what I’ve seen the Lord do in the midst of that!

In the beginning weeks of the month, we had 2 short term teams come in for mission trips. Those weeks we really saw the Lord! These teams had the sweetest people with the biggest hearts for the Lord! With the second team, they greatly encouraged us and helped us feel renewed as we finish out our time here. We had 4 baptisms happen that week from within their team!!

Also, in the beginning of March, I witnessed a beautiful life change. My friend and I were out in the community, and ended up evangelizing to a woman, Angela, who we’d spoken with in the past, and she accepted Jesus into her heart! She’s walked through a lot of hardships in her life, and is now a single mom that works 2 jobs, 7am-9pm everyday, to provide for her kids. We knew we had to walk alongside + disciple her, so we’ve been meeting in the crepe shop where she works for the past few weeks during her shift. The day after she dedicated her life to Jesus, she shared her testimony with multiple people and has continued to since then. She encourages me greatly and reminds me of what it looks like to have a childlike faith, and that through the busyness of life, remaining in Him is priority.

This past month, our team as a whole has struggled a lot with spiritual warfare. Each one of us has been attacked in different ways and have been struggling with different things. I’ve struggled a lot through anxiety this month, but since then, I’ve seen victory! I’m constantly reminded that through the trials + fire, He’s there, and to keep staying faithful no matter how hard it might seem in the moment! He’s worth it!

Today is Easter! We rejoice in the resurrection of King Jesus, 3 days after He was obedient to the point of death on a cross, where He bore all of our sins in place of His righteousness, as He was fully perfect with no sin, so we could have abundant life in Him! Today at our church, we saw 7 people declare their faith in Jesus through baptism — the perfect symbol of what today is.

Around 2 weeks ago, we built a house for a family that one of our groups meets with in the community, and have been discipling.

Here are a few ways you can be praying for my team and I!

Prayer Requests

  • For my team through spiritual warfare — continual unity regardless!

  • A continual movement in this town — God opening the hearts of the people here to the gospel.

  • That the people we’re discipling would take up the vision, and continually be bold in their faith!

  • For those that have come recently, to continually seek Him in their everyday lives, and to be bold + encouraged to share the gospel :)

  • For the 2 upcoming short term teams coming!

  • For two of my teammates that sadly went back to the US in the past few weeks — boldness in the states + healing + new community!

  • Finishing out strong, spiritually + health wise!

Thank you everyone for all the ways you’ve prayed for us this year. I can hardly believe I’ll be home in less than 2 months! See you all very soon!

Also sorry there are no pictures, my computer won't let me add them, but I'll add more next newsletter!
