What a month :) We had our last week of ministry that was filled with many hard goodbyes, but a joy knowing that the people we’ve been discipling will continue doing what we did there!! And the week before we left we had a week-long debrief to help us process our year there and to get ready to go back to America (with spending 8 months in a different country comes culture shock reentering back into our home countries). Then we had a day debrief in Atlanta, and I flew home the next day!

It’s crazy to say that about a week ago I got home! I just wanted to send out one last newsletter and say thank you to each one of you for the way you have supported me constantly throughout this year, through prayer, financially, and just being there! It was an amazing year, full of many different struggles and challenges, but the Lord met me where I was at each time . Before going into this year, my prayer was that Jesus would become my home, and that I would be stripped of my comforts and what I cling to the most — and He really came through. This year was really hard for me in many ways, but so rewarding because I can say at the end of the day, that when it was hard and I was uncomfortable and I wanted to go home, I relied and depended on Him, and He became my home.  I was able to redefine what home looked like to me —— Jesus. And that through a busy schedule, He became my true rest. This year I also really came to know Him as my Father and my Shepherd, in ways I never had before. I felt Him leading me through each moment and each trial, and I saw His heart for us as His children.

Also, as many of you know, the Lord’s given me a heart for overseas missions! So, I’ll be going to Liberty University in VA to study in the missions program, with a B.S. in Global Studies!! I’m so so excited to follow the Lord there and see what He has for me! SO, although He has me in America for a bit longer, I’ll still be pursuing the great commission and His command to make disciples that make disciples!! Please partner with me in praying for our country and that He would raise up more people on fire for Him to make disciples here!

Some last prayer requests!!

  • For me and my team’s transition to continue going smoothly!

  • Continual movement in Guatemala and our town, San Antonio!!

  • Boldness + drive to continue the work that we did for 8 months in Guate!

Being back has been so sweet + filled with so many moments seeing my people! I’ll be home for a good portion of the summer so I’d love to reconnect with people! Please send me a message if you want to get coffee, hear about my trip, or anything! So much love!!
